Windows 11 will be available as an upgrade for eligible users from October 5, 2021. But, as per the latest news, it will not include Android Apps support during the launch.
Yes, it is a bummer, as this was one of the primary highlights of Windows 11. But the feature is still on the table, and we have to wait until 2022 to take it for a spin. Microsoft announced in a new blog post about the latest upgrades regarding Windows 11.
“We look forward to continuing our journey to bring Android apps to Windows 11 and the Microsoft Store through our collaboration with Amazon and Intel“
Aaron Woodman
Being able to use Android Apps will be a great attribute. It will reduce our phone usage and help in improving interaction without touching the device. As of now, users can try Android simulators like Bluestacks to run the applications. The latest Windows 11 upgrade includes a refreshing new design, Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, Teams integration, personalized feed powered by AI, new Microsoft Store, etc.
Once the rollout starts, users can check for the update by going to Settings > Windows Update and select Check for updates*. You can also check if your system is eligible here.
