Twitter’s past few weeks were interesting. The question of, Will Elon Musk buy Twitter?
We finally have the answer.
After all the reoffers and rejections, the Twitter board finally said, we accept the offer for $44 billion. The whole world was like what. The Twitter board had been receiving offers from Musk since the start of the month, as he became a shareholder, but the board rejected them.
However, Musk came up with another offer and swept away the board.
So How will it affect Twitter’s future?
Musk wanted to make Twitter private and turn it into a platform for free speech.
Some people are worried about that, as few can use it as a platform for hate speech. Yes, they all are assumptions, but we know how Elon Musk is. He always mentioned Twitter has “extraordinary potential.” Also, he wants the platform to grow and doesn’t want to make money out of it.
There is a mixed reaction from people across the globe, and we will have to wait and see what happens.
